Itinerary
- Day 1: Overnight flight
Cozy up on your evening flight to Lisbon and make sure you rest those legs—Lisbon’s so hilly that even its hills have hills.
- Day 2: Arrive in Lisbon + Welcome Dinner
Welcome to Lisbon aka “The City of Seven Hills.” And sure, that number’s inaccurate, but it’s a good indication of what’s to come. Settle in and meet you group—tomorrow we explore.
Today's highlights:
- Land at the airport and meet an EF representative.
- Transfer to your accommodations, check in, and start to meet your fellow travelers.
- Enjoy a Welcome Dinner with your group at an authentic local spot.
- Day 3: Sightseeing in Lisbon
Let’s explore Lisbon with a local, shall we? This colorful Portuguese capital is home to classic European charm, breathtaking vistas, and a comfy coastal climate. No wonder it’s the oldest city in Western Europe—who wouldn’t settle down here?
Today's highlights:
- Traverse the labyrinth of Alfama, the oldest district of Lisbon.
- Ride on the iconic yellow trolley that was imported from the U.S. in 1901.
- Day 4: Free day + optional Evora Tour & Monsaraz Wine Tasting
Today, you can choose your own adventure—as long as that adventure includes eating pastel de nata. Get out of the city a bit, or bop around Lisbon with some of your new travel pals. In the evening, enjoy an included dinner with the group.
Free time suggestions
Belem Tower: Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Belem Tower was built in the 16th century to fortify Lisbon and symbolize Portugal’s maritime power.

Evora Tour & Monsaraz Wine Tasting (extra cost)
Tour Evora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, then head to medieval Monsaraz for wine tasting.

- Day 7: Fly home
Adeus, amigos!
Translation: Goodbye, friends! Your next destination awaits—home. But this isn’t goodbye. It’s “See you later.” The only question is, where?

The schedule was planned really well so we got to experience the entire city and a bunch of different pieces of Portuguese culture, and the food was sososooo great.
